WORKSHOPS, SEMINAR, AND MINISTRY ENGAGEMENT QUESTIONS
1. What is a Rhema Dance Ministry Workshop?
A workshop is a 4-day event hosted by Rhema. During the workshop you will learn
the principals and techniques used to glorify God in dance. Some workshops will
focus on praise/celebration dances, others mime, drama, or flags and streamers.
Each registrant will learn a choreographed dance that will be ministered by
the mass workshop dancers at the concert which is on the last evening of the
workshop.
2. When is the next Rhema Dance Ministry Workshop?
Rhema Dance Ministry hosts two major workshops a year. Summer (June or July)
and Winter (November or December). Check the website frequently for the latest
information. All workshop classes are held in the evening. Time and location
are TDB.
3. How can we get Rhema to come to our church or area and do a workshop?
Email rhemadanceministry@sbcglobal.net or call Lela Gardner at 314-226-8309.
Please have the following information available: date, time, location. Please
leave as much detail as possible.
4. What is Rhema's dance schedule?
Check our calendar.
5. What fees are associated with workshops, seminars and ministry engagements?
Use the contact number; call to discuss the details.
MISCELLANOUS
1. Is it OK to do a dance choreographed by Rhema dance at my church or function?
The pieces choreographed for the mass workshop dancers are for participants
to take back to their respective churches and share and build upon. Ultimately
the Lord is our divine choreographer --- it is our prayer that the DVDs inspire
you to tap into how the Lord wants you to move. We understand that when beginning
in the ministry of movement, choreography can be difficult and intimidating.
If you choose to minister a selection choreographed by Rhema Dance Ministry
we ask that you give us credit and do not make a profit off it by selling another
DVD.
2. How do I contact Rhema?

3. Where do you get your uniforms?
Most of the uniforms you see Rhema minister in are made by our local seamstress.
If you are looking for similar praise garments try one of the following companies;
Dance Distributors, Dancewear Solutions, or Praise Dancewear by Main Street.
You should try to find a seamstress in your local area. Most of our garments
are based on the Matrix long coat pattern. You can also look for preacher robes
and cassock patterns.
DVD TROUBLESHOOTING QUESTIONS
1. What format are you DVDs?
Our DVDs are duplicated using the -R format
2. Will your DVD play in my DVD player?
The short answer is maybe! There is no 100% guarantee that any DVD we make with
our DVD recorder will play in all DVD players. Whether or not you can play our
DVD on most current DVD players (manufactured since the years 1999-2000) will
depend mostly on the format used in recording the DVD. Unfortunately DVD formats
are not universal
there are at least 4 formats with the most popular being
+R and -R.
Chances are the DVD will play in your player! If not, try a computer with a DVD reader or another DVD player. If none of those options work, Walmart and other retailers offer an Apex DVD player retailing at $20 which will play the DVDs. If none of these are viable options, see our return / exchange policy
3. My DVD Player only plays +R, can you send a DVD in +R format?
Unfortunately it is not cost effective for us to reproduce DVDs in multiple
formats. There are DVD players retailing for $20 that will play our DVDs.
4. I don't understand, I can get a DVD from Blockbuster and that will play
on any player
what's the difference?
Good question! The DVDs you get in Blockbuster or other video stores are not
burned or duplicated. They use a process call DVD mastering
this can not
be done with your typical duplicators. It is a VERY expensive process and the
minimum order size is very large.
5. HELP! My DVD says Disc Error - What do I do?
First make sure the DVD is seated properly and try again. If you get the same
error, try in another player (if available)
If it still doesn't work, you may have a defective disc
see our exchange
policy.
6. HELP! The Mercy Said No pt 2 DVD just loops at the beginning - What do
I do
You are looking at the menu, there is no play button, but you'll need to hit
play on your remote to start the video
.if you are watching on a computer,
click on the picture in the middle (you'll see your cursor turn into a hand,
indicating a hyperlink).
7. The DVD is jumping - What should I do?
First make sure the DVD and the DVD player is clean. If it continues to jump
you may have a defective disc. Please describe the scenes where it is jumping
to the best of your ability and return within the timeline stated in the exchange
policy.
